I missed my workout.

I got up, put on my leggings and sneakers, woke up my daughter, got her dressed, dropped her off at childcare, went to work and planned to go to The Camp at 11. I forgot that there are many times you can go and workout, but there is a block of time where they are closed.

Day 4: 21-Day-Detox 

Thursday, June 29, 2017, 9:00 PM

It feels so good to rest. I decided to call off work and really relax. Current position, feet up, sitting on my couch. Drinking tea with lemon. Listening to my favorite music. A kid free, sunny, relaxing, and restful day. 

My muscles definitely ache, but I think my body is ready for my 6:00 AM workout tomorrow.

Day 2: 21-Day-Detox

I went to bed tired, and I woke up tired. I am sore and nothing in me wanted to go and workout today.  I have to push myself to think differently, eat differently, and love my body differently by taking care of it. Working out is showing me that my body is weak…

I am not able to do certain things, but I am rebuilding my muscles and working hard to reach my goal of losing 20 lbs by July 17, 2017, the last day of the 21-day-detox.

Day 1: 21-Day-Detox

The night before my first workout, I was extremely nervous. Not necessarily sure why, but I knew that this was something new and I didn’t want to let myself down. I let self-doubt creep in a bit, but I woke up feeling ready for whatever this experience had for me.
