Day 14: 21-Day-Detox

Sunday, July 9, 2017

I couldn’t find a babysitter so no workout today. I hate the transitions that life can bring. As a mother, I have no choice to adapt, but it still sucks.

I wish I could take my daughter with me, but at 19 months, she is too busy.

Instead of feeling low all day, I decided to embrace the day. I spent time playing at the park with my daughter, collecting rocks and going up and down the slide. It always feels good to see my daughter smile.

Self-love Affirmation

Number 49 of the 77 Self-Love Affirmations To Inspire Your Life, by , “My mind is filled only with loving, healthy, positive and prosperous thoughts.”

Daily Gratitude Log:

Here are the 5 things I am grateful for:

  1. Family Time
  2. God’s help in removing toxic people and things out of my life
  3. Long talks with friends and family
  4. Self-love affirmations
  5. My mother for her constant support

It is not easy to put your goals aside for your family. Being a single mom is not easy and it has only been 6 days. We have to make sacrifices for our families sometimes,  but I will not sneak back into bad habits because I am stressed and feeling down!
