Day 11: 21-Day-Detox

I need a day…. I called off work and after I took my daughter to childcare, I am going to binge watching New Girl… I don’t want company. I don’t want to talk on the phone. I just some me time.

I think all the stress has me sick because now I am congested and coughing consistently.  My medication, New Girl, a detox bath, and my bed are all I need today. 

What you need to take a detox bath: 

  • 2 cups Espom Salt
  • 1 cup Baking Powder
  • 10 drops Lavender Oil (if you have Lavender Espom Salt you don’t need lavender oil)
  • Make the water as hot as you can take it
  • Soak for 1 hour

When you are under stress, taking care of your body is so important. I struggle with this because when I stress, I want to do toxic things as my way to cope such as drinking alcohol and binge eating. During this 21-day-detox, I am trying to focus on positive aspects of my life and to do healthy activities while under stress.

Here are some things I have been doing to stay positive:

  • Blogging
  • Listening to uplifting music
  • Detox Baths
  • Talking to friends and family
  • Working out or talking walks


  • Day 11: Morning Smoothie 
    • Spinach
    • Sweet Carrots (baby food)
    • Pineapple
    • 1 Mandarin Orange
    • #itworks Greens blend
    • 10 oz. Spring Water
  • Day 11: Lunch

  • Kale

  • Romaine Lettuce

  • Chicken Breast

  • Tomato

  • Cucumber

  • Baby Carrots

  • Day 11: Dinner/Stir Fry (leftovers from yesterday)
    • Steak
    • Asparagus
    • Carrots
      • Sweet Peppers
    • Garlic Cloves
    • Brown Rice
