Day 9: 21-Day-Detox

Tuesday, July 4, 2017

After being up all night into the morning, stressing, arguing, and feeling lower than I have in a long time, the last thing I want to do is go to a barbecue or workout. I cancelled my workout and plan to make up the day to meet my required 15 workouts at The Camp, within these 21 days.

Although I am feeling overwhelmed and sluggish, I have a daughter to support, so I will pull myself out of this funk and make sure that I can give her a good 4th of July.

When you are going through tough times, surround yourself with those who love and support you.

I had a good time with my mother and sister today. They really helped take my mind off of my personal life. I ended the night early because my daughter was tired from playing with cousins and eating barbecue, so I missed the fireworks, but prayerfully this time next year, life will look a little differently and my spirits will be lifted.

My daughter slept the rest of the evening so I spent some time in reflection and prayer. I need God to take this situation into his hands and guide my steps…
