Day 6: 21-Day-Detox

After running around the Strip District, holding ropes above my head block-after-block, and doing squats at every corner (read about this unique workout method in my post Day 5: 21-Day-Detox), I could not believe how much energy I had for Saturdays 9:00 AM workout.

Workout 5

The instructors at The Camp Transformation Center had us split into teams and do a relay race. Each of us had to do 10 squats, 10 pushups, and 10 burpees; we then had to push a “slab” down to the other side of the room and back. The entire team had to be in a plank before we could be considered done with the excersise.

The losing team had to run down 2 blocks and back.

My team won!!! 💪💪💪

No running, but we all had to do the same relay with only 5 squats, pushups and burpees.

My team won a 2nd time! 💪💪💪💪💪💪

It felt good to win but it felt better encouraging my AFF (Awesome Fit Family) and working together as a team.


  • Day 6: Pre-Workout Shake

  • 1 Scoop of Pea Protein Powder

  • 4 oz. of Spring Water

  • 4 oz. Vanilla (unsweetened) Almond Milk

  • 1 tsp. of Flax Seed

  • 1 Granny Smith 🍏

  • 1 tbsp. of Organic Cinnamon

  • Day 6: Breakfast 
    • 3 Egg Omelet
    • Fresh Spinach
    • Roma Tomatoes
    • Sweet Peppers
    • Onion

  • Day 6: Midday Energy Boost
    • 4 scoops of It Works! Greens blend (Berry Flavor) with 16 oz. of Spring Water 
      • Acidity-fighting magnesium and potassium blend
      • 52 herbs and nutrient rich superfoods
      • 34 fruits and veggies
      • Matcha Green Tea added
      • Soy-Free. Non-GMO. Dairy-Free. Vegan.
      • No artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners

  • Day 6: Lunch 

    (Meal prepped 3 days ago)

    • Baked Chicken Leg

    • Cauliflower

    • Broccoli

    • Carrots

    • Sweet potatoes with Granny Smith Apples and Spicy Organic Cinnamon.

  • Day 6: Dinner (Forgot to take picture – did not cook) 😧
    • Barbecue Chicken wing and leg (no sauce)
    • Fruit salad (strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, peaches, green grapes)

  1. My AFF, we pushed and motivated eachother in the best of ways 
  2. Water, for nourishing and replenishing my body 
  3. Protein, for rebuilding my sore muscles 
  4. My boyfriend for finding Lavender Epsom Salt at Rite Aid
  5. Farmer’s Markets, for allowing those without a lot of money to purchase fresh and beautiful produce
