Day 5: 21-Day-Detox

Let’s just say, ropes and I have a love/hate relationship! 

This morning I woke up before my alarm. It was 5:00 AM and my brain was ready to go before my body was. I slowly crept out of bed and grabbed my pre-workout shake that I prepped the night before and slowly gathered my things since I was up early. 

I always love waking up before my alarm, but it is also annoying because I could have gotten an extra 15 minutes of sleep. 

After drinking some homemade cucumber water, and drinking my pre-workout shake, I headed to The Camp Transformation Center. As I drove, I thought about the type of workouts we had done my first 3 days and prepped myself to continue that trend. When I got to The Camp, what I expected was not what was in store for me…

Here is a  break-down of the workout we did as a group for about 45 minutes:

  • Run a block while holding the rope (as a group)
  • 20 Squats at the corner

  • Walk a block with arms up in the air (holding rope)
  • 25 Side Squats at the corner

  • Run a block
  • 20 lunges at the corner (left leg)

  • Walk a block with arms in the air
  • 20 lunges at the corner (right leg)

AND repeat…..

It was rough….. It was painful…… The sweat never stopped…. I jumped out of the ropes 2x …… (Sorry AFF) The burn in my shoulders and legs are real……. But I wouldn’t have it any other way!!!! –Ta’lor Pinkspen (follow me on Facebook)

Farmer’s Market Fun

I decided to take my mom and my daughter to the farmers market to get some produce for this week coming. I love the farmers market near my house. Great produce. Great people.


  • Day 5: Pre Workout Shake
    • 6 oz. of Spring Water
    • 6 oz. of Vanilla Almond Milk (unsweetened)
    • 1 scoop of Pea Protein Powder
    • 1 tbsp. of Milled Flax Seed
    • 1 Granny Smith Apple
    • 2 tsp. of Spicy Organic Cinnamon
  • Day 5: Breakfast
    • 2 Eggs 
    • 1 cup of Fresh Fruit
      • Strawberries 
      • Pineapple
      • Honey Dew Melon 

day 5 lunch

  • Day 5: Lunch 
    • 1 cup of Tomato Soup 
    • Salad
      • Spring Mix
      • Red Onion
      • Baby Carrots
      • Tomatoes
