Day 4: 21-Day-Detox

It feels so good to rest. I decided to call off work and really relax. Current position, feet up, sitting on my couch. Drinking tea with lemon. Listening to my favorite music. A kid free, sunny, relaxing, and restful day. 

My muscles definitely ache, but I think my body is ready for my 6:00 AM workout tomorrow. 

Detox Bath

Around 10:00 PM, I will soak in my first detox bath. Here is what you need to take a proper detox bath:

  • 2 cups of Epsom Salt or Lavender Epsom Salt 
  • 10 drops of Lavender Oil (if you do not have Lavender Epsom Salt) 
  • 1 cup of Baking Soda 
  • Candle(s) (for full relaxation effect) 
    • soak for at least 1 hour “with water as hot as you can stand it” (The Camp 21-Day-Detox Manual)
  • Benefits of the detox bath
    • Promote weight loss and lower inflammation
    • Detoxification through the effects  of magnesium and sulfur in Epsom Salt
    • Enhanced sleep
    • Lowered blood pressure
    • improved control over blood sugar levels
    • sweating and eliminating of toxins

Meals:

  • Day 4: Breakfast 
    • Sweet potatoes with Organic Cinnamon
    • 2 Eggs
    • Nutri Blast:
      • 1 Granny Smith Apple
      • 1 Pear
      • (Handful) of baby Carrots
      • #itworks Greens blend
      • 10 oz. Spring Water

  • Day 4: Lunch 
    • Brown Rice and Sea Salt
    • Baked Chicken leg 
    • Roasted Red Pepper Bisque (vegan) 

  • Day 4: Snack 
    • Spring Mix 
    • Baked Chicken leg 
    • Roma Tomatoes 
    • Onion 
    • Guacamole (Aldi brand)

  • Day 4: Dinner 
    • Sweet potatoes with Spicy Organic Cinnamon
    • Kale Greens 
    • Baked Pineapple🍍Chicken Thighs 

Recipe for Baked Pineapple Chicken: (made five thighs

  • Pour 3 tbsp. of avocado oil in baking pan and spread oil over the entire base
  • Place chicken in pan
  • Season with garlic powder, himalayan sea salt, lemon pepper
  • Pour spring water in baking pan, cover 75% of chicken 
  • Place in over for 2.5 hours and base chicken every 20 minutes (I like my chicken a little crispy, so if you do not, leave in for only 2 hours)
  • At 1 hour, add 1 1/2 cups pineapple cut into chunks 
  • Let cool and enjoy
