A Mothers’ Fathers Day Tribute

Most think that men have it easy being as a dad. This could not be further from the truth. Just like mothers, fathers have to sacrifice so much for their families.

It is a different and yet equally important journey.

We need to start cherishing our fathers for who they are and supporting them…

…to every father that is taking care of children on his own

…to every father that is locked up, loving his children from a distance…

…to every dad that feels like he is not important…

…to every father that passed away and spent their life loving their kids…

…to every stay-at-home dad…

…to every father that shows up…

…to the man that leads his kids by example…

…to every granddad that basically loves his grandkids more than his own kids…

…to the father that will play dress-up with his daughter…

…to every dad that goes to sporting events at 8am

…to every father that has to find somewhere to change a diaper, because there are no changing tables in mens restrooms…

…to the man that changes his voice and does impressuons when reading to his kids…

…to every dad that is raising young boys to be men…

…to the father whose daughter just got their first period…

…to every dad that works long shifts to support his kids…

…to the father trying to afford child support

…to the man that respects his baby mama because he loves his kids…

…to every dad that tries to fix their mistakes…

…to the dad that puts together every toy, installs car seat, raspberries their kids bellies, give piggy back rides, kisses his children while they sleep, holds his child’s hand, cries at his child’s birth, talks in a high pitch when he is speaking to his baby, smiles and plays with his child even when he is hurt…

…to the father that puts his kids first, we mothers love and appreciate you. ❤
