Quotes for Life

Q. “Why do you think so many women who want to be married aren’t?” -Belinda Luscombe

A. “Women’s standards and requirements have lowered. And as men, we know that. We have taken advantage of it. We’ve created terms that we feed to women that allow us to exist as we do. We created the term ‘nagging.’

There’s really no such thing as nagging. As soon as a woman starts registering her complaint, we call it nagging. We let you know it will drive us away…

So many standards have been lowered by women that now a man doesn’t have to climb over a very high bar to get to her. So now you have more men who can get away with more things with more women without any repercussions.” -Steve Harvey, 2009

  1. I made my husband pursue me when we met. I made sure he knew he might not win me. He had to work to show he deserved me. Now all these years, kids and grand kids later he still thinks he found a treasure in me. And he shows it every day.
You have to let them know you’re a rare jewel ladies! Great post!

  2. So true…Men do not realize the worth of a loyal woman. He tends to use her until she can take it and then loses her. He doesn’t want to work in building a healthy relationship but want a woman’s full effort. That’s not done.

    1. I agree, but I think it’s the other way around. Women do not know their worth. We let men use us, we give our full effort until we are depleted, tired, and sometimes bitter.
We need to recognize our worth and rid ourselves of these BS men!

      1. I agree with you Pinkspen! We degrade our standards to match them with the efforts of these ungrateful men. Hence, they are unable to see our worth because we keep it variable in accordance with the worth of these men.

      2. Exactly! It’s up to us to set the standard! Men have a responsibility as well, but I aim to uplift women, so they can know their worth! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for reading!
