A Love Letter

To my beloved,

When I first saw your eyes, I melted like wax.
I knew I wanted you as my own.
I felt a strange desire to claim you.
I needed you to see me, to catch my eye…

Even in feeling invisible, confidence took over, and I asked your name.
The most gorgeous name I had ever heard.
All I could do was smile.
You spoke of your dreams, desires, passions, fears…
You spoke truth, peace, and love…
When you first gave me your heart, I cried tears that pooled at our feet.
Together, in bliss we surrounded ourselves in our love.
A love stronger than stone.
A love, constantly growing…
A love, learning…
A love, never-ending.

  1. Love is indeed beautiful. Words don’t matter because I think it’s one and the same feeling but different people perceive is differently. Awesome post. Loved it. 🙂

  2. Oh, this is so heartwarming and happy. And that bit – “The most gorgeous name I had ever heard.” – I completely relate! Whenever you are smitten by someone, the name sounds so appealing and gorgeous and sweet and special, even if it is one of the most simplest or typical of names!
