If you are up at 6:00a, whipping sweet potatoes for pies, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

When the MACY’s parade comes on, and you are singing along with the cast of CATS, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If you are running late, but you have to go to the store to buy one more can of Cranberry sauce before going to grandma’s house, you are having a good Thanksgiving…

When there are two red lip stick, kiss stains on your cheeks, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If you are wearing an itchy sweater that your grandmother knitted, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If the 1-year-old is running around in her diaper and won’t put on her brand-new outfit, you’re having a good Thanksgiving.

When there is not enough room in the oven to bake the macaroni & cheese, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If the game is tied 13-13, in the 4th quarter with seconds on the clock, and you are clenching your teeth, praying that the Detroit Lions make this last field goal, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If the room is filled with the sounds of too early to be listening to this, Christmas music, you’re having a good Thanksgiving.

When your uncle is telling the same story that you have heard 100 times, you are having a Thanksgiving.

When you have given thanks, made your plate, and go to take your first bite, and then you must give it to your toddler, you are having a good Thanksgiving.

If there are stains all over the couch, loveseat, and the carpet, you are having a good Thanksgiving.
